House League Coaches - Grassroots Stream

Phantom Lake Soccer Club is a nationally licensed Quality Soccer Provider (QSP).  All community (formerly House League) coaches must complete the following:

  • Completion of an up to date Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector (expires every 2 years).   Volunteer Letter can be taken to your local detachment.

  • Completion of an up to date Respect in Sport for Activity Leaders course (expires every 5 years).  Can be completed online at Sask Sport or Sport Manitoba

  • Completion of the appropriate Canada Soccer Grassroots coaching course for the age/stage they are coaching.  Online courses from Canada Soccer are free from PLSC for the 2024 season.  On field sessions will be done from April 8-11, 2024.  You can find the available clinics through our registration, click clinics

  • Be SAFE SPORT SCREENED by Registering as a Coach/Staff with Phantom Lake Soccer Club; Follow LINK, select Staff

 

Canada Soccer Grassroots Courses Guidelines

  • U5 - Active Start.  Online and In-person on April 9th.  Please register through PLSC registrations and selecting clinic
  • U7&U9 - FUNdamentals.  Online and In-person on April 9th.  Please register through PLSC registrations and selecting clinic
  • U11&U13 - Learn to Train.  Online and In-person on April 10th.  Please register through PLSC registrations and selecting clinic
  • U15+ - Soccer for Life.  Online and In-person on April 11th.  Please register through PLSC registrations and selecting clinic
